Benefits of the POWER WILDCAT:
  • Doesn't require a team with a lot of speed
  • Great for teams with undersized offensive linemen
  • Simple terminology makes it easy to implement
  • Kids love this offense
  • Defenses hate it
The POWER WILDCAT offense is a variation on the single-wing formation with an unbalanced (power) offensive line. The POWER WILDCAT turns an offensive formation into an overall offensive philosophy. The POWER WILDCAT uses pre-snap motion coming across the formation and every play initially looks like a sweep behind zone blocking. However, after the snap several things may happen at once. This offense is easy to learn, fun to run and keeps the defense guessing on every play.
Quotes from other coaches:

"I have not found another offense that is this easy to implement and this successful. I first implemented it with my 8 year old team. We scored on our third play of the season and went all the way to the championship game with the smallest team in the league." - Coach Jeff H.

"The first time I coached against Coach Bill's Power Wildcat offense, I laughed it off as the single-wing. We lost 27-0. I now run it with my 12 year old team." - Coach Chris M.

"I have coached against this offense and Coach Bill in a playoff game. We had 8 games of film on his team. After our game, I walked up to him and said "Wow"." - Coach Chuck B.
